SEEDS programme receives Irish Times Theatre Awards nomination

We are delighted to announce that SEEDS, our pioneering artists development programme, has been nominated for the Judges’ Special Award by the Irish Times Theatre Awards, 2017!  The awards take place on Sunday the 25th of February.

Our biennial programme, which aims to develop the professional career of five burgeoning theatre artists includes mentorship, city centre office space, work placements with both Rough Magic and theatre companies in the UK and beyond, as well as a number of international theatre trips throughout Europe.The vast majority of our SEEDS alumni have gone on to have vital and influential roles in Irish theatre and many have worked with Rough Magic professionally. They include- Tom Creed, Stacey Gregg, Matt Torney, Sophie Motley, Cian O’Brien, Lara Hickey, Matt Smyth and Zia Bergin-Holly to name but a few.
