Solar Bones

Kilkenny Arts Festival in partnership with Rough Magic, in association with Watergate Theatre presents
SOLAR BONES
by Mike McCormack
in an adaptation by Michael West
Marcus Conway has come home to his kitchen in Louisburgh Co. Mayo. Everything seems normal, yet he is haunted by the feeling that nothing is quite right. Poring obsessively over the details of his relationships, his world and his work as an engineer brings him closer to an understanding of how the things and people he loves have come together, and how they have and must inevitably come apart.
Adapted by Michael West, directed by Lynne Parker, starring Stanley Townsend as Marcus Conway. Set & Lighting Design by Zia Bergin-Holly, Sound Design by Denis Clohessy, Costume Design by Kathy Strachan.
Due to government guidelines in place to reduce the risk of the spread of Covid-19, capacity for Solar Bones is currently limited to 50 (inclusive of production personnel) to ensure both social distancing and to comply with restrictions on gatherings. A possible increase in permissible gatherings in phase 4 (due to come into effect on the 10 August) may mean that more tickets can be released in the coming weeks in line with government guidance. Please keep an eye on our social media channels for more information.
