Rough Magic is delighted to introduce our new SEEDS

SEEDS: Seek out – encourage – enable – develop – stage.

SEEDS has been acknowledged as the most  successful, respected and comprehensive artist development programme in Irish theatre.

SEEDS 8 ended in December 2017 with the phenomenal success of Mr Burns: A Post-Electric Play. We are delighted to welcome the next generation into the company.

The five participants for SEEDS 9 in are:

Ciara Elizabeth Smyth – Writer

Olivia Songer – Director

John Gunning – Lighting and A/V Designer

Naomi Faughnan – Set and Costume Designer

Liadan Ni Chearbhaill – Production Manager

The response to our recent call for applicants was unprecedented; and remember that applications will be open again in 18 months, this time for the 10th iteration of this groundbreaking programme. Check on our website closer to the time.
