Ronan is Rough Magic’s Associate Director. Ronan’s productions for Rough Magic include: A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Mr. Burns: A Post Electric Play (Rough Magic SEEDS),The Effect and Assassins (Rough Magic SEEDS).
Previous directing credits include Merrily We Roll Along (The Lir, Dublin), Twelfth Night (LAMDA, London), Much Ado About Nothing (The Lir, Dublin), Annie (Cork Opera House), Inhabitance (Glassdoll Productions), To SPACE (Niamh Shaw), LAMBO and Clear_the_Air (Underscore_Productions), BROADENING (Glassdoll Productions), Pocket Music (Dublin Fringe 2011, Winner Little Gem Award) and Durang Durang (Brazen Tales Theatre Company).
Radio productions include LAMBO (RTE Drama On One, Winner PPI Radio Awards Best Drama 2014).
Ronan is a former participant of the Rough Magic SEEDS programme and spent 18 months as Resident Assistant Director at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin.
